Fighting the imam and the Ground Zero mosque is very expensive. The imam and his radical Muslim supporters have huge amounts of resources and they are using them against us. About the mosque lawsuit
This class action lawsuit brought by first responder Vincent Forras and Freedom Watch is the first action naming Imam Rauf, the Cordoba Initiative, and others as plaintiffs.

The primary causes of action seeks damages totaling $350,000,000 for the intentional and negligent infliction of emotional terrorism and physiological distress.
The building of this mosque on sacred ground has generated distress amongst fellow first responders, 9/11 families, and all Americans who were negatively affected by the 9/11 attack.
This entire action is consistent with Forras' life calling since 9/11, in that he has focused on first responder health and mental issues (including his own) and spreading American good will to many countries in the world through the gift of surplus American fire equipment and fire safety education. This action is simple and straightforward and not based on Islam.
Properly brought under a "nuisance" (to the neighborhood and NYC) cause of action, i.e., security for the neighborhood, NYC, and the nation, increased security costs, and resultant higher taxes, the mosque is a nuisance.
Secondarily, this action is also in response to the protective shield that has been placed over the imam by the President of the United States, his administration, the State Department, the mayor of New York, and especially the Attorney General of New
York (candidate for governor) who has passed the edict that there will be no investigation into the funding behind the mosque. Through discovery, we may be able to better ascertain what role the government and politicians have played in abetting and aiding this controversial imam's affront to American sensibilities.
